Handy Rite started in 2005 with Ben's passion for home improvement, repairs, and remodeling. With a knack for fixing almost anything, Ben turned his skills into a trusted business dedicated to helping homeowners create beautiful, functional spaces. From quick handyman services to full-scale renovations, we've been delivering quality craftsmanship ever since.
Ben, our owner and skilled craftsman, is hands-on in the field, ensuring every project meets our high standards. Staci, our friendly and organized office manager, is your first point of contact. She keeps the process smooth and stress-free, ensuring your experience is as great as our results.
In our downtime, you'll find us hiking, fishing, playing board games, or chasing after our two lovable dogs. Family time fuels our creativity and keeps us motivated to tackle every new home project with enthusiasm.
At Handy Rite, we're also passionate about giving back. We proudly support our community. Whether transforming homes or helping neighbors, we're here to make a difference.
Yet, the most rewarding part is the incredible friendships we've formed with our customers. Our ultimate goal is to leave you with a beaming smile, just like the ones our customers have given us over the years! 😊

James hails from sunny Southwest Florida and now proudly calls the beautiful Midwest home! When he's not working, he spends most of his free time with his family. He also loves outdoor activities like archery, hunting, and fishing.
With years of experience in the customer service industry, he takes pride in delivering exceptional results and building strong relationships with every homeowner. He believes in a strong work ethic and approaches every remodeling or handyman project with care and attention to detail.
We’re truly grateful to have James on our team. His integrity, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering high-quality work make him an invaluable part of our team. We can always count on James to approach every project with the care and attention it deserves, and we’re lucky to have him with us.
Austin is a key part of the Handy Rite team during the summers. As he works alongside us, he gains valuable experience in home improvement, remodeling, and handyman services. This fall, Austin will head to college, majoring in business while pursuing his passion for singing on a choir scholarship.
Outside of work and school, Austin enjoys the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, traveling to new places, skiing, and spending time with his dogs. We’re incredibly proud of Austin and excited to see him grow as a craftsman, a business leader, and a talented musician!
After an impressive career of over 45 years in the construction industry, Tom came out of retirement to share his carpentry expertise with Handy Rite. He enjoys staying busy and being part of the team, especially during our busiest seasons.
When he’s not lending his talents to our projects, Tom loves fishing, golfing, and tinkering with his classic Camaro. His dedication and enthusiasm make him an invaluable part of the Handy Rite family, and we’re lucky to have him on board!
